Simple Finder Version
2
This is not what it looks
like! Not a rangefinder bright line finder, but a simple viewer!
It is an extremely rare piece indeed!
Supplied with the first
Nikon "F" fisheye lens the 8mm f8, it is the second version
of the simple finder. The first version, illustrated below,
was supplied with a flat shoe which required using the gray
plastic flash shoe adapter. The first version had the NK logo,
the second has "Nikon" engraved on it.
This finder simply has
a 4mm circle in the middle of the glass to allow the fisheye
to be aimed. There is no effort made optically to show what
the final image will be like. The third version of the finder
was optical.
